Seven years ago today, our little warrior, Thomas, was undergoing craniofacial reconstructive surgery to correct his metopic craniosynostosis. We didn’t initially recognize him physically after the surgery, but then we quickly recognized his smile and his amazing ability to live life in the moment.
Today, Thomas is thriving. He is doing incredibly well in school, he is fluently bilingual, loves learning and have a great curiosity for how things work. He also loves his superhero scar on his head.
