Sandra Forlini

RECOVERY ROOM NURSE

Sandra is a registered nurse with over 15 years of experience in the field. She is a pillar of the team at Le 1620 as she has the crucial responsibility to recover patients after their surgery. She closely observes and cares for them as they transition from the operating room towards their recovery, in the most safe, comfortable, and pain-free state possible.

Sandra graduated from Vanier College in 2002. Since then, she has worked in a large variety of nursing positions including CLSC home care, ambulatory care, vaccination, fertility clinic, intraoperative and trauma care.

Since 2013, Sandra has been working as a recovery room nurse at the Montreal General Hospital where she recovers patients who suffered anything from minor injuries to major traumas. This position requires critical thinking and quick decision making as well as good communication skills to provide the right information to the medical staff or the patients.

Sandra likes the challenges and continuous learnings that come with nursing, and she enjoys teamwork. Her calm focused and soothing demeanor make her an excellent recovery room nurse, our patients feel safe and in good hands.

During her free time, Sandra loves to travel, spend quality time with family, she is a regular at the gym and really enjoys gardening in the warm summer months.
