Pamela Zanoqui

HEAD OF OPERATING ROOM NURSE

Pamela was born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She initially studied nursing in her country – a 3-year program with an operating room specialization. Right after graduating, she was recruited to work as a scrub nurse in a private clinic and soon after, she was obtained a first assistant permit, sponsored by the Chief of General Surgery. Pamela then worked as a first assistant in gynecology and for liver transplant surgeries.

10 years into her career she immigrated to Canada. The training equivalency granted by the Ministry of Education and McGill University was comparable to a second year of medical school. To get a full nursing license, she registered at Vanier College in a 3-year program and was therefore fully accredited to match Canadian standards. Pamela worked at the Montreal Children’s hospital operating room and in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory. She was recruited by Dr. Gilardino to become head nurse at Le1620 and now leads the surgical team in our private facility.

Pamela is a team player; she is extremely dedicated to her work and is a great multitasker. During her free time, she enjoys playing golf, watching movies, and going on “hot chocolate” dates with her daughter.
