Annie Lorefice

REGISTERED NURSE, SPECIALIZED IN AESTHETICS

Annie was born and raised in Antigonish, Nova Scotia. She comes from a family of 8 children, with strong Italian and Irish roots. She speaks of her experience growing up in a rural town as a special privilege, she feels there was a true sense of community that larger cities do not have.

She moved to Toronto, Ontario to study at Ryerson University. She received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2008. After graduating, she worked at Sick Kids hospital for 3 years before moving to Montreal. She was then hired at the Montreal Children’s Hospital and worked in different departments such as the Emergency Room and the Post-surgical Ward before being recruited by Dr. Gilardino.

She was always interested in aesthetic medicine and was thrilled to develop new specialized skills such as lasers, injectables and other complementary non-invasive treatments such as PRP and micro needling. She felt working alongside Dr. Gilardino was an opportunity to broaden her scope of practice in nursing as she manages the clinic’s patients pre and post-surgically. She also enjoys rotating in the recovery room sporadically to keep her bedside skills up to date.

During her free time, she likes being outdoors with her husband and kids and cooking delicious meals. Spending summer holidays in the Maritimes and winters at the ski hill are the most special times spent with her 3 kids: Bella, Paul-Anthony and Benjamin.
