Aesthetic Procedures

Aesthetic surgery of the nose is called rhinoplasty (“nose job”). The combination of aesthetic changes to the visible portions of the nose (dorsal hump, nasal tip, etc.) with improvement in your breathing by way of work on the internal (less visible) nasal structures (septum, turbinates, internal or external nasal valves) is often called septorhinoplasty.

In addition to altering the shape of parts of your nose you are not satisfied with, nose surgery can often drastically improve facial appearance by improving facial balance (reducing or augmenting the apparent volume of the nose relative to you facial structure).

Rhinoplasty is performed either through incisions completely hidden within the nose (closed rhinoplasty) or with a small incision on the columella or vertical structure between your nostrils (open rhinoplasty).

Each technique has its advantages that will we discussed in your consultation before selecting the ideal option for your nasal surgery.
