Neck Lift

Although sometimes considered as a separate surgical procedure, a neck lift is often part of a surgical face lift.

Neck lifting refers to the surgical improvement of excessive skin (sagging) or fat accumulation in the neck region, which often can obscure the desired neck silhouette or jaw line. Although many patients consult specifically for either a “neck lift” or “face lift”, these procedures are often combined as facial aging generally affects both areas and the maximal result is achieved when surgery achieves a harmonious rejuvenation of these adjacent and related areas.

In addition, the incisions (neatly concealed around the ears and posteriorly in the hairline) and recovery are the same or similar for both procedures.

Following your consultation, you will be able to determine whether a neck lift or face lift alone will satisfy your goals, or whether a combination approach is best.
