Mirko S. Gilardino, MD, MSc, FRCSC, FACS

Dr. Gilardino is a Board-Certified Plastic Surgeon recognized by both the Canadian Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American Board of Plastic Surgery. The latter credentials are granted only to those who have completed surgical training (a minimum of 5 years) in a Plastic Surgery Residency accredited by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. He is additionally recognized as an Active Fellow under the rigorous credentialing of the American College of Surgeons, designated by the FACS in his credentials. He received his MD from the McGill University Faculty of Medicine, and completed his six years of Plastic Surgery training at McGill University. In addition to obtaining a Masters Degree in Experimental Surgical Research, Dr. Gilardino completed an extra year of subspecialty training at the No.1 ranked Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and University of Pennsylvania in Complex Craniofacial Surgery.

Dr. Gilardino is currently the Director of the Plastic Surgery Residency Program and Assistant Professor of Surgery at the McGill Faculty of Medicine and the McGill University Health Centre, Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He is also the Director of Craniofacial Surgery and the H.B. Williams Craniofacial and Cleft Surgery Unit at the Montreal Children’s Hospital.

Dr. Gilardino specializes in Craniofacial Plastic Surgery in children and adult Aesthetic and Plastic Surgery.
